Novotel's New 'Novation' Accor’s mid-scale Novotel hotel brand has launched its next generation room, “Novation,” a new guestroom layout that focuses on an open-space design. The new look incorporates a modern design through the use of wood, natural light and bright colors. Special new features include a curved bed panel for more support when viewing the television; a new quilt to replace traditional blankets; and a rotating desk, which allows guests to face either the window or the room interior. The guestrooms also feature new two-seater sleeper-sofas with their own lighting system and an in-room coffee and tea station. There are three color schemes from which to choose, including, red, orange and blue. A highlight of the new room is the bathroom, which features a separate shower and bath and an open design that allows guests to view the TV from the bathtub.
