The Butterfly Beach Hotel
I recently had a week-end stay at the Butterfly Beach Hotel in Christ Church, Barbados. The hotel was only a short fifteen (15) minutes from the Grantley Adams Airport.
When my partner and I arrived at the hotel early Thursday afternoon, our room was not ready; however the desk agent, Hazel, was quick to put us at ease. She apologized and told us the room would be ready in a short while. We waited at the hotel's bar, which overlooked a cozy deck and a beautiful white-sanded beach.
Within fifteen minutes, Hazel called us to let us know our room was ready. We were located on the fifth floor, to the back front side of the hotel. Our balcony provided a partial view of the hotel's pool and a magnificent peek of the Caribbean Sea.
The room was spacious, clean and fresh, and most importantly, the bed was comfortable. We had a small refrigerator, in a kitchen that would have been great had we decided to prepare our own meals.
Overall, our stay was pleasant. The entire staff, those with whom we came in contact, was very hospitable. They served with purpose and dignity. Hazel and Trevor, who helped us to our room, are wonderful ambassadors for the hotel.
The Butterfly Beach Hotel is a wonderful place for travelers, especially those who will enjoy a serene location. I recommend it, and when you travel to Barbados, make sure you check-in.
